Fantasy Art

About me

Born in Sweden, I was raised with Swedish fairy tales,  the tales of HC Andersen and the Grimm Brothers. I was fascinated by the animated movies of Walt Disney and filled my schoolbooks with many of his characters. 

 

I eventually enrolled in art school and learned to paint from live model in water color and oil. In the summer I traveled through Europe visiting galleries and museums. 

 

I eventually left Sweden for the United States, attended night classes in order to learn how to paint in digital media and now do most of my art on a Macintosh computer. 

 

The digital images in this gallery started out as line drawings on paper, which were scanned into Photoshop, then colored in Photoshop and Illustrator
